Spam Volume increased by 35% for November 2006
I don’t know about you, but I have noticed a large increase in spam being sent to my mail. Even Gmail’s junk mail filters are missing some of it and it is getting into my inbox.
I especially enjoy the “you won the lottery so give us your bank account number so we can deposit the money” emails.
Anyway, according to Information Week, official numbers show that spam has increased by 35% for the month of November. That is quite a hefty jump. It is a trend that we all hope ceases in the near future.
